Council of Faiths donate to LOROS in memory of their founder

On Tuesday evening several of the staff from LOROS had the pleasure of meeting board members from the Council of Faiths in Leicester.

They presented us with a donation of £400 in memory of their founding member Syed Faiyuzuddin Ahmad who was cared for by LOROS.

Diane Morris, LOROS Fundraising Manager, said: "We would like to say a big thank you to the Council of Faiths for their donation. Every year we care for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and their very generous contrbution will go towards the, high-quality, compassionate care and support we give to terminally ill adult patients, their family and carers."

40 giant elephants from LOROS Hospice’s Stomp Round Leicester art trail were auctioned off last night, raising a mammoth £286,800 for the charity.
