Lindsey takes the plunge for LOROS

Our very own Lottery promoter, Lindsey Geary, has recently completed the The Great Manchester Swim in memory of her mun Margaret Birch, who was cared for by LOROS.

Lindsey wanted a challenge that would really push her and at the same time enable her to raise funds for a cause very close to her heart - the unique 'dock to dock' course, staged in the Salford Quays, fitted the bill perfectly.

She completed her swim in a great time of 43 mins and 58 secs and raised an incredible £642 for LOROS - mission accomplished!

Adrian Walker, Senior Fundraiser at LOROS said: "People like Lindsey are truly inspirational and her fundraising efforts, along with those of our other supporters, enable us to contiue providing care for terminally ill patients and their families."

If you would like to take up a challenge for LOROS, please visit our events page and search for one that suits you. Alternatively, you can contact one of the fundraising team on 0116 2318 431 or email fundraising@loros.co.uk
