Christchurch Theatre Club is celebrating the life of their choreographer, Ruby (Ruth Chadwick), by doing what they do best - singing!

They have released a CD, aptly named Ruby Christmas, which is now available to buy in all LOROS shops priced at £7 each and will shortly be available to download from Amazon, iTunes or Google Play.

This must have CD, contains a very special collection of Christmas hits including Silent Night, Do they know it's Christmas, Fairytale of New York and of course, the unforgettable White Christmas.

All proceeds from the sales will go directly to LOROS.

Gemma Farnell, a member of the Christchurch Theatre Club, said: "Ruby sadly lost her battle with cancer last year, and spent her last few days in the Hospice, being cared for by the truly brilliant staff.

Everyone at the Club is aware that LOROS rely heavily on donations and, as we all wanted to do something in remembrance of Ruby, it seemed proper that we should raise funds for the Hospice in her memory".

As well as recording the CD, the Club are performing White Christmas at the Loughborough Town Hall in January 2015 and running a Raffle with some amazing prizes.

Adrian Walker, Senior Fundraiser at LOROS said: "We would like to thank everyone at Christchurch Theatre Club for all the various fundraising activities they have organised linked to their White Christmas concert, in memory of Ruth. We really do appreciate all their hard work in raising vital funds for the Hospice."
