Members of the organising team of The Annual Great Glen Wheelbarrow Race, along with representatives from Great Glen Parish Council, recently visited the Hospice to present their cheque.

Adrian Walker, Senior Fundraiser at the Hospice, said: "I would like to say a huge thank you to Andy Williamson and his amazing team for their continued fundraising efforts on behalf of LOROS and also to Great Glen Parish Council for their annual support for the event.

"Yet again, Andy and his team did a wonderful job and the wheelbarrow races provided an opportunity for the residents of Great Glen to show their generosity and continued support for LOROS, which seems as strong as ever.

"The event raised an amazing £2,100 and could, for example, fund the running cost of the hospice for 2½ hrs or pay for 21 Community Nurse Specialist visits to our patients. Your donations really do make a huge difference to us - Thank you so much for your continued support, we look forward to seeing you all again next year.
