A massive thank you to all our hard working bag packers

News

12 Jan 2016

Our lovely bag packers, made up of teams from Coventry Building Society, Santander, British Gas and our volunteers and staff, could be seen at M&S Fosse Park, M&S Thurmaston and Morrisons on various days throughout December.

Bernadette Fenn, CCU Co-ordinator at LOROS, said: "I am extremely grateful to everyone who helped with our event this year - it was a pleasure to lead such a wonderful team of people.

"We had a fantastic time bag packing and spreading Christmas cheer whilst also raising awareness Alt textand thousands of pounds for our Hospice.

"Thank you so much to everyone who played a part."

Bernadette is keen to maintain a register of volunteers who could help with bag packing events throughout the year and during the run up to Christmas 2016- you can do as many sessions as you like or even just one. Any help will be very much appreciated.

Alt textPerhaps you can get your colleagues from your business or place of work to help? In which case we could offer a full day/morning/afternoon.

If you can help and maybe make this part of your Christmas tradition, please contact Bernadette on (0116) 231 8431/2 or email bernadettefenn@loros.co.uk
