The 12th Annual Jazzbash, held at The Musician in Clyde Street, Leicester, raised an amazing £1600 which has been split equally between LOROS and PROSTaid.

Organised by Stuart Battle, this year's gig included performances from The Welland Valley Stompers, The Jazz Crew, The Saratoga Jazz Ensemble, Steve Fearn and Friends, The Spa Stummers, King Brasstards, Jazz Salon Rouge and THQ.

Clare Harwood, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS, said: "This is the first year that I’ve been involved with Jazzbash and it was a genuinely brilliant event!

"Stuart and his fellow musicians put on a great set and it was a real privilege to listen to them play and to share stories about Dave Rae, the man who founded this annual gig.

"LOROS are very grateful to everyone who was involved in making this event the success that it was and we would like to say a big thank you to Stuart and The Musician for their continuing support to the Hospice."

Stuart and his friends are already planning next year's event which is set for Sunday 22nd January 2017.
