Aiden Phillips, Senior Funeral Director at Co-op Funeral Care, Melton Mowbray, brought together colleagues from other Co-op Funeral Care branches and local Co-op shops to support our events and fundraising activities.

Co-op Funeral Care, Humberstone Road, Leicester branch sponsored the arrival drinks at the recently held LOROS Ascot Ladies Day at Leicester Racecourse by donating Pimms, lemonade and fruit.

Aiden also secured a selection of Co-op cakes for our Colour of Ribbons event in July.

He said: "I hope that the funeral homes and local Co-ops will continue to work together in order to make a difference to the local community and their Hospice."

Laura Betts, Events Lead at LOROS added: "Help with sponsoring events, or any aspect of an event - such as the arrival drinks package from Co-op Funeral Care, means that we can increase our profit margin and raise more funds for the Hospice.

"I would like to thank everyone who has donated goods for these events and I look forward to building on our relationship with them."

If you are inspired by the Co-op team and would like to know more about building a lasting relationship with LOROS, please call (0116) 231 8431/2 or email Magdalena Korytkowska, our Corporate Fundraising Co-ordinator.
