Kwoklyn Wan, the brother of television’s favourite fashion guru, Gok Wan, will be bringing a taste of Asia to this year’s LOROS Polo Day.

As we step into spring, tickets are selling fast for this year’s ‘A Day at the Polo’, taking place in beautiful Rutland on Sunday 2nd July.

Visitors will be able to celebrate the grand finale of the historic Assam Cup Tournament at Rutland Polo Club in Oakham, while enjoying an oriental inspired four-course menu, created by TV Chef Kwoklyn.

Kwoklyn said: “I am so excited to be supporting LOROS at this incredible event.

“I have created a menu that will draw on flavours of the orient inspired by Thailand’s love of the game.”

Tickets for the hospitality tent are available for just £60 per person and as well as including the specially-created menu from Kwok, the package also comprises of a complimentary drink on arrival, courtesy of local gin distillers Burleigh’s.

LOROS Event Lead, Laura Betts said: “All of the ingredients are there for this to be an extremely successful fundraiser for LOROS.

“With 250 places available in the hospitality tent and around 200 people expected to descend on the picnic lawn, we hope that we will raise in the region of £10,000 which could cover the cost of running our day therapy service for five days.”

Alternatively, people can choose to bring their own picnic to the event and set up camp for the day on the Picnic field.

“’A Day at the Polo’ is something that everyone should experience once in their lives, it’s something to tick off a bucket list,” Laura added.

“We are really excited to be able to deliver this event with the two ticket options that enable everyone the opportunity to come and support LOROS.”

Hospitality and Picnic tickets are available to purchase now for £60 and £7.50 respectively. For more information and to book, please call (0116) 231 8431 or visit loros.co.uk/polo
