With the help of family and friends, Chris and Heidi Brown organised a fundraising night in memory of their mum Jenny and raised an amazing £1,002.50 for LOROS.
The black tie event, which was held at Hoby Village Hall, included music from the Rutland Big Band, a raffle and a delicious hog roast.
Debbie Dickman, Fundraising Co-ordinator at the Hospice said: "We would like to thank Chris and Heidi, and all their wonderful family and friends, for their thoughtful contribution to LOROS.
"The amount they raised could pay for one of our Community Nurse Specialists to visit 10 patients in their own homes, providing free care and support to patients and their family members."
