A massive thank you to everyone at The Pocket Playhouse, especially Tony and Lynne Marsden, for their amazing fundraising concert at The Groby Ex-Serviceman's Club on Friday 20th April. They raised a fantastic £2,100 for LOROS which could pay for the cost of one of our specialist nurses for three whole weeks!
Special thanks go to The Pocket Playhouse performers: Stephanie Georgina Hall, Lucy Thomason, Neil Warner, Ewan John and Iain Hunt and the beautiful dancers from Creative Edge with Danielle Limmage, and no show could even start without the very talented technical crew comprising of Ron Allen Colin Blakley, Richard Smith and Ray Whitmore. There were so many others to thank including Nathan Clarke and all the staff at The Groby Ex-Servicemen’s Club.
The professionalism of the organisers and performers showed throughout and made it a sell-out event.
