Huge congratulations to James Armstrong and his friends Stacey, Tom, Bev, Sam and Caroline who successfully completed the 3 Peaks Challenge in 23 hours 45 minutes to raise funds for LOROS.
James said: "In March this year my Uncle, Phil Armstrong, passed away after a short battle with prostate cancer. In his final months he was treated with care, compassion and dignity by the amazing staff at the LOROS Hospice in Leicester, so in his honour and to help contribute to the funding of LOROS we decided to raise funds for an amazing cause."
As well as trekking for 23 miles (37km) with a total ascent of 3064 metres (10,052ft), there were also 462 miles of driving in between. A big thank you to James's dad Richard, who acted as driver and supporter through the 24-hour event.
