Anna Bithell, a Data Analyst at LOROS, and nine members of her family went the extra mile for their LOROS fundraiser. They have raised an amazing £2,520 (so far) in her Stepdad's memory!
Anna said: "The LOROS Community nurses supported my Stepdad during his time at home and made his final few months so much more comfortable and we wanted to raise some money for LOROS to say thank you.
"Ten members of the family, which included both children and grandchildre, each ran 70 miles (a total of 700 miles!) over four weeks and we completed the final few miles together on the 7th August which would have been his 70th birthday.
"We would all like to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported us during our challenge."
Debbie Dickman, a Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS, added: "We are so grateful to Anna and her family for their very generous donation. This support will help us to continue to deliver care that is special and unique to each individual that needs our services.
