Did you know that last year nearly £4 billion was gifted to charities across the UK through gifts left in wills? That’s the equivalent of the amount raised by over 50 London Marathons.
Gifts in wills contribute to a quarter of our income every year, and are essential to help us continue to provide compassionate care, support bereaved families, and innovate new ways to meet the evolving needs of our community for many years to come.
This autumn, we’re launching a new campaign with our partner Octopus Legacy to help raise awareness of gifts in wills and their impact. We’re working with Octopus Legacy to offer a free will writing service to encourage more people to take action and tick writing a will off their to-do list (alongside, hopefully, leaving a charitable gift too).
We’re delighted to extend the free will offer to staff, to take the stress (and cost) out of writing or updating your will. This offer ends 31st October 2024.
