Volunteer Role

Bag Packer and Collector

This simple activity raises a great deal of money upon which the Charity depends. Without such fundraising LOROS could not operate. This is one of many important streams of income and vital for the charity.

Volunteer Role

Compassionate Neighbours Volunteers

Our Compassionate Neighbours Volunteers provide support to patients, relatives and carers, for up to four hours per week. This can include spending time with patients in their own home, the community and occasionally attending appointments. Our excellent volunteers offer companionship, support and a listening ear as well as support with hobbies and interests. The service is available Mon-Fri, 9-5.

Volunteer Role

Complementary Therapy Volunteer

LOROS treats the person not the illness. This holistic approach involves a variety of complementary therapies which says you are a person, an individual, who matters to us. Under the supervision and guidance of the Complementary Team Therapy Team you will provide short treatments to Day Therapy patients and staff.
