Mark Mason set the pace in Fleckney Angling Club's Chairty Shiled match in aid of LOROS

Fishing on the pole, he caught 24lb 13oz to beat Kamron Bosworth, 19-12, and Pete Mason, 19-8.

Steve Jordan edged to victory in Westerman Welding's Dean Smith Charity Shield, on the top lake at Peatling Pools.

He took 69-9 to pip Phil Mansfield, 67-11, with Trev Aldred third on 47-8.

The top three were closely packed in Anstey AC's match at Shearsby Valley Lakes.

Nigel Bond won on 94-0 from Kevin Sims, 92-0, and Andrew Williams, 91-0.
