Join LOROS on the first ever 8.5km bike ride and experience the newly developed cycle route through the National Forest & North West Leicestershire Countryside on a cycle route through the National Forest. We are looking for 300 people Families, Friends and Individuals to register for the first Hicks Lodge Bike Ride.

It is hoped that riders will come out in force to join the ride at the stunning Hicks Lodge in Moira and that hundreds of cyclists will gain sponsorship for LOROS to raise much needed funds towards the provision of palliative care to terminally-ill patients from the counties of Leicestershire and Rutland.

The Hicks Lodge Bike Ride is looking to get over 300 people for the first year! The Bike Ride starts at the National Forest Cycle centre, Moira on Sunday 27th May 2012. Bike hire is also available but please pre-book by calling Hicks Lodge on 01530274533 and quote LOROS Bike Ride.

There will be special one off reusable goodie bags on the day with bananas, water etc and entertainment on the day. There will also be a BBQ with tasty food and refreshments to buy! Prizes for the most sponsor money raised include Chocolate making experience for a family of four, Next & Dominos toy vouchers.

So come along for a good day out while supporting LOROS! To take part, contact the Fundraising Department on 0116 2318431 and a Registration Form will be sent out to you. Return the form with your registration fee (Adults £5, Children £2.50 and Family £10) and we will send you a sponsorship pack so that you can start your fundraising straight away. Alternatively you can register on the day £20 per Adult and £10 per child. Please note that children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Once registered, you can start asking friends and family for sponsorship and set up your own just giving page to get sponsored straight away. Remember to inform your sponsors about Gift Aid, as for every pound donated we can claim 25p extra from the Government, at no extra cost to you or your sponsors.
