A gym celebrated its second birthday with a masquerade ball for its members and team.
Results Weight Loss, in Leicester, held the ball at the City Rooms and raised more than £500 for charities LOROS and rosie-marie.com. Gym founder Joe Hanney said: "The birthday party was my way of saying a big thank you."
Staff at LOROS Hospice – including nurses on the inpatient ward – swapped their uniforms for pyjamas yesterday, as part of a fundraiser celebrating the launch of a new charity sleepwear range.
40 giant elephants from LOROS Hospice’s Stomp Round Leicester art trail were auctioned off last night, raising a mammoth £286,800 for the charity.
