Now in its fourth year, Glenstock was organised by staff at The Forge Inn in Main Street, Glenfield, on Saturday.

?Visitors were treated to more than 11 hours of live music, including sets from The Shine, Daniel Giadiello, The Three Amigos, Bearfoot and Purple Circle.

Owner Sam Hagger said the event was "another resounding success".

He said: "It was such a great day with so many people coming out, creating a great community atmosphere and having a great day, despite the chilly weather.

"People were so incredibly generous with their donations, it really restores your faith in humanity.

"To think that it started as a little event under a £15 gazebo four years ago – it's amazing."

It is thought more than £2,000 has been raised for Leicester hospice LOROS and Rainbows hospice, in Loughborough, through online and on-the-door collections.
