Paralysed London Marathon heroine Claire Lomas will join a list of famous names when she speaks at a charity lunch next month.
The 32-year-old, of Eye Kettleby, near Melton, will be guest speaker at the annual LOROS Ladies Luncheon.
Past speakers include politician turned TV presenter Ann Widdecombe, royal reporter Jennie Bond, TV medic Dr Hilary Jones, Princess Diana's brother, Earl Spencer, and food writer and TV presenter Mary Berry.
LPRPS staff said Claire would be perfect to speak at the event this year.
Following a horse riding accident which left her paralysed from the waist down in May 2007, the inspirational mum won the hearts of the nation when she completed the London Marathon over 17 days last year, wearing a robotic suit.
LOROS fundraising manager Diane Morris said: "This year, Claire, who won our hearts in April 2012 after completing the London Marathon, will be our inspirational guest speaker at this event.
"The nation watched as, day after day, Claire put one foot in front of the other in her incredible bionic suit.
"She is truly an inspirational and courageous woman. She has accomplished so much."
Since her accident, Claire has helped to raise money for Spinal Research.
During the time it took her to complete the London Marathon, she collected £204,000. The epic feat saw Claire recognised as an inspirational figure and she was invited to light the cauldron at the 2012 Paralympic Games, which was watched by millions of people around the world.
She recently received another honour, in the form of Tesco's Courageous Mum Award.
Claire, who is mum to two year old Maisie, was rewarded with a reception at 10 Downing Street, where all the winners were given a tour and spoke with Prime Minister David Cameron.
Speaking about the LOROS event, Claire said: "It is a real honour to be invited as guest speaker at the LOROS lunch. LOROS is a fantastic charity."
Claire is getting in shape for a 400-mile cycling tour of schools in England.
More than 60 cyclists from across the East Midlands will be joining her during a training session at Rutland Water this weekend.
Tickets for the LOROS Ladies Luncheon, which takes place on Wednesday, May 15, at the King Power Stadium, are still available and priced at £40.
