An amazing evening with Lord Sebastian Coe was held at the Mercure Hotel, Leicester on 11th April. Seb Coe was expertly interviewed by Matt Poole (former Tigers player) and an entertaining and valuable insight was gained into his career as an athlete, politician and Chairman of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Guests at the event included LOROS Patrons, Martin Johnson (England’s Rugby World Cup winning Captain), Mark Selby (World No. 1 Snooker Player) and Alan Birchenall (Leicester City legend). The event was sponsored by Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd and supported by the Mercure Hotel, Leicester.

Diane Morris, Fundraising Manager for LOROS said “It was a wonderful evening of entertainment from a leading and highly respected international sports figure. We are extremely grateful to Matt Poole for skilfully interviewing Seb, to Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd for their sponsorship of the event, to the Mercure Hotel for their generous support of the event and to the many companies and individuals who provided raffle and auction prizes. We are indebted to Seb for giving up his valuable time to support LOROS.
