As part of its ongoing fundraising efforts for LOROS, Kilworth House Hotel staff and guests were joined by members of the public for an enjoyable 5km or 10km walk around the Kilworth estate on Wednesday 8th May.
Funds were raised by asking for a minimum donation of £5 per 5km per person and a magnificent £750 was added to its 2013 fundraising total.
They say elephants never forget. Now LOROS is keeping that promise with its Remember Me elephant. The mammoth elephant is the work of local artist Anna Shutt, who was inspired by looking through photograph albums of relatives.
LOROS Hospice is pleased to confirm it will receive a share of the Government’s recently announced £75 million capital fund for hospices in England.
An Elephant themed art trail is stampeding into Leicester on Monday 14th July, in support of LOROS Hospice.
