On Thursday 25 April, LOROS attended the National Grid Leadership Conference at The Meeting Centre in Hinckley, providing a stand to help engage and improve awareness of our work and opportunities for employees to get involved in volunteering and events that they can participate in to raise funds for our charity.

The day consisted of leadership activities throughout the morning and the opportunity for leaders to spend time hearing about the work of LOROS and the other charities present. LOROS received a welcome cheque of £50.00, presented by Martin Neat, Customer Centre Manager at National Grid.

Christian Weikert-Picker, Fundraiser at LOROS said, “It was great to be invited along to the Leadership Conference in Hinckley. In previous years LOROS have worked closely with the National Grid on events like The Hinckley 5K so we are really excited to have the opportunity to work alongside them again and welcome their employees along to future LOROS events. ”
