A quartet of Birstall golfers played a gruelling 100 holes in 17 hours around their home course.
But the mammoth challenge, on Monday, was all for a good cause as they raised £3,500 for local charities LOROS and the Air Ambulance.
The team of Birstall head professional David Clark, first-team captain Martin Weaver, Marc Green and Josh Farrell, set off at 4am and finished at 9pm, with only a couple of short refreshment stops along the way.
Clark said his feet "felt like glass" after completing the challenge, while all four players went to work the following day with sore feet and heavy legs.
Club captain Mel Whiteman was full of praise for the team, and said: "It is a real physical effort to play 100 holes with just a couple of short breaks, and we're all proud of their efforts."
Birstall have a busy summer ahead of them, as two major events are being hosted.
The Midlands Boys Championship will take place on July 4, and the Midlands PGA Mark Group Open is being held on August 1-2.
