Ann Mason raises a fantastic £1,355 for LOROS

Ann Mason held a Fish and Chip Supper and Quiz Night in memory of Brenda Groves and raised a fantastic £1,355 for LOROS.

Ann (left), Brian Groves (Brenda’s husband), daughter Wendy and granddaughter Saffie decided that they would like to buy items for the Hospice which were required or in need of replacing.  They are pictured above with the new sound system that is placed in the social area for all LOROS patients and their families to enjoy.

The money also bought a specialised electronic chair that helps patients be more comfortable, more relaxed, and lifts them to help them stand.  Wooden planters filled with plants were also purchased and a training course for a LOROS nurse.

We would like to thank Ann, Brian and everyone involved for holding this event and raising such a wonderful amount of money for LOROS
