Fifty quid challenge laid down by charities

Businesses across the borough are being challenged to raise money for LOROS, the county hospice service, in an innovative money-making initiative to be launched next year.

The LOROS Accumulator Challenge will see willing participants given £50 from hospice funds, with the challenge to increase the amount as much as possible within three months.

The scheme will launch in March 2014 and entrants will compete for awards for the most money raised and the most innovative money-spinning idea.
