LOROS were honoured to have been chosen by the stunning Kilworth House Hotel and Theatre as their Charity of the Year for the second year running in 2013. With such an outstanding and unique venue supporting us we were delighted to be able to continue our association with the superb and exclusive events and productions which have become synonymous with Kilworth.

Kilworth House hosted two more charity walks on behalf of LOROS in 2013 which toured the magnificent Kilworth estate. The walks proved popular once again with the 'regulars' and newcomers alike.

They also held a very successful Golf Day at Kilworth Springs Golf Club in September and a highly entertaining Sporting Dinner in the Orangery in October; these two events alone raised in excess of £10,000.

Theatregoers also contributed by hiring Kilworth House's famous red blankets during the theatre season and diners were able to contribute by making a £1 donation to their bill at the end of their meal.

Laura Betts said: “We have so much enjoyed our two year collaboration with Kilworth House Hotel and Theatre, their support has been truly amazing. Their commitment to LOROS has been reflected in the incredible amount of money they have raised during the past two years. We can't thank them enough for their resolute support."
