A Golf Day will raise money for LOROS.

Rothley Park Golf Club will be hosting the event for the hospice, in Groby Road, Leicester, for the eighth time.

The event starts at noon on Friday, May 2 and will include raffles, auctions, prize presentation and evening meal.

Team prizes have been donated by fashion giant Next and individual prizes by Sam Spillane, of SJ Events, and Danny Spillane, of Golf Retail Ltd.

Diane Morris, fundraising manager at LOROS, said: "I am delighted Rothley Park Golf Club is again allowing us to hold our event in such a beautiful parkland setting.

"We have always received very positive feedback from the event."
