A GP at Latham House Medical Practice in Melton is to run the London Marathon for LOROS hospice, hoping to raise over £2,000.

Dr Matt Riley (31) said: “I joined Barrow Runners a year ago to improve my fitness and practice what I preach to my patients. This will be my third marathon and I’m hoping to get under four hours this time.

“I am the palliative care lead at Latham House so LOROS is a cause I feel passionately about professionally and personally.”
