The British Gas Complaints Team, managed by Maria Sweeney, continue apace with their bid to grow up their £50 stake in the LOROS Accumulator Challenge 2014.

They recently held their monthly market, and raised another fantastic £150.

To fill their tombola stall they asked their colleagues to donate any unwanted items or prezzies. They had a really good response and received 47 items ranging from Pot Noodles to a Coffee Machine.

In addition they had a contact who could buy silver jewellery at wholesale price which they sold on at a slight profit. They also had a sweet and crisps stall.

Magdalena Korytkowska, Partnership Development Assistant at LOROS, said: “We are really pleased with all hard work this team are putting in to grow their £50 for LOROS.

"They haven’t had one week off from their fundraising activities since the start of the challenge which is incredible.

"We would like to thank them all for their support, which helps us to provide our vital care to patients and their families. We are very much looking forward to seeing their final total at the end of the challenge.”
