LOROS Patron, Julia Bradbury, visits the Hospice

Yesterday LOROS Patron, Julia Bradbury, made a visit to the Hospice to be given a tour and to meet with patients and staff.

Chief Executive, Simon Proffitt, and Fundraising Manager, Diane Morris, led the tour, introducing Julia to all the areas of our work, the teams that deliver the care and to patients and families that had been eager to meet her.

Julia thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone and was very moved by the stories our patients shared.

Later in the day, Julia was guest speaker at the 29th edition of The LOROS Ladies Lunch, an annual fundraising event at the King Power Stadium in Leicester. The event was a sell out with over 600 ladies attending to hear Julia speak and raise thousands of pounds for LOROS.

A great time was had by all!
