Jasmine Bannister from Blaby, completed the Women’s Running 10K Race Series in a great time of 57 minutes and 24 seconds!

The race, which took place recently in Birmingham, provided her with the opportunity to raise funds for LOROS in memory of her much loved Grandad, Brian Bannister.

Jasmine said, "It is a great pleasure to support LOROS as my Grandad spent some time at the hospice during the last few days of his life, eight years ago.

He was cared for so well and I am determined to carry on supporting the charity as much as I can, by completing more fundraising runs in the future.

When I first decided to participate, I hoped that I would be able to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100. I am thrilled to say that I have more than doubled that, and the total currently stands at £210."

Debbie Dickman, fundraising co-ordinator at LOROS said, "I would like to congratulate, and say a big thank you to Jasmine for donning her running shoes and raising funds which helps us to provide our vital care to patients and their families. I very much look forward to hearing about where she will be running next."
