Simon gets on his bike for LOROS

Simon Lattimore aims to cycle from Leicester to Skegness on his late dad's road bike to raise funds for LOROS.

Simon said, "My Dad died on March 9th this year after several years battling cancer and we were very grateful for the support we all received from LOROS during his illness.

"I had already signed up to do the cycle ride for LOROS prior to this as I am well aware of the kind, compassionate work that is carried out there. My Dad had been an inpatient at LOROS hospice for pain control and his community nurse specialist, Jo Granger is based there. Added to that, my wife is a nurse on the LOROS ward.

"Lots of people donated money to LOROS in Dad's memory, but I am hoping to raise even more by doing this cycle ride."
