Colourfun Mile for LOROS

Hinckley Town Centre, on a very sunny Wednesday evening, saw hundreds of runners covered in multi-coloured paint and beaming smiles, running in aid of LOROS, the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice.

People of all ages dressed in their white T-shirts and followed the Colourfun Mile, meeting various colour zones and were blasted with powder paint. With music and entertainment on the way and at the start and finish line, there was an electric party atmosphere!

40 giant elephants from LOROS Hospice’s Stomp Round Leicester art trail were auctioned off last night, raising a mammoth £286,800 for the charity.
