LOROS "Bake a Cake" Competition

News

4 Jul 2014

Congratulations to LOROS Volunteer, Sophie Edwards, on coming first in the large cake category of our Bake a Cake Competition. LOROS Fundraiser, Christian Weikert-Picker, also came away with first place for the small cake category.

The Competition, open to LOROS Staff and Volunteers, gives people working in the Hospice the chance to enter their home-made cakes and win a prize. The cakes are then sold at our Colour of Ribbons event on Saturday 5th July, raising extra funds for the Hospice.

A special thanks to Jan McNulty, a LOROS Volunteer and Beryl Chapman, our Volunteer Co-ordinator, for taking on the hard task of judging the competition!
