A table tennis tournament has raised £3,000 raised for LOROS hospice.

The sixth annual tournament held by HSBC involved 16 teams from businesses.

"Not only is this event getting bigger each year, the tournament is also getting more competitive," said LOROS spokeswoman Laura Betts.

"There were some fantastic players participating. Some of the firms have really upped their game."

The final was held at the HSBC offices at Grove Park, Enderby.

Laura said the charity, in Groby Road, Leicester, was grateful for the bank's support. Teams were entered by companies including Grant Thornton, Howes Percival, KPMG, Gateleys, Nelsons and Spearing Waite.
