Part 1 of the Mojathlon takes place!

On Sunday 29th June Team Mojo took part in the first of their charity events for LOROS and they are pleased to announce that despite a few falls, cuts, bruises and scratches, they have survived.

The first event was Cannock’s ‘Chase Trails’, a 10km Bike Ride through mountainous rough terrain, concrete slabs, narrow wooden bridges and mightily high jumps. As the majority of the MoJo employees had not ridden a bike for some time, it’s fair to say that this might be the most nerve-racking event of Mojathlon!

John Young, Managing Director of Mojo Promotions said, “Upon arrival, the abundance of professional looking off road bikers was terrifying! What had we gotten ourselves into? This was a trail designed and built for competent Mountain Bikers; some of us had only just removed the stabilisers from our bike! We had to put the fear aside - this was for a worthy cause and we wanted to push ourselves to the limit.

"So, after receiving our bikes and helmets and donning our LOROS T-Shirts, we set off. Despite the harsh challenge, it was thoroughly enjoyable."

Magdalena Korytkowska, Partnership Development Assistant at LOROS said, “We do appreciate the Mojo Team effort and we are so glad to see that their support for LOROS hasn’t finished after this year’s Accumulator Challenge. We hope that their swimming event on 24th August, and a 5K Zombie Run will bring them a lot of fun and that their team spirit will be raised by the generous donations on their Just Giving page.”
