A very special thank you to the team at Keenpac who took on the challenge of growing £10.00 in one month. Team member, Vivienne, let us know what the team had been up to:

"Keenpac presented us with a challenge to see how far £10.00 would grow in a month.

So our Team, Packaging Pedals, which consisted of Charnjit Mehai, Vivienne Lake, Darryl Oldham, Kelly Oliver, Stewart Traynor, Martin Jebb, Verity Mottram, Warren Bennett, Emmanuel Remba, Andrew Hailstones, Rae Evans, Cara Jeffrey, Cara Smith, Anna Skrobanska and Arjinder Gill came up with the idea of selling sausage cobs to our colleagues, this went down a treat!

Alongside this we decided on doing a sponsored stationery cycle to London. So on a hot Friday June 13th we took it in turns to do half hour stints on the bike all without stopping. We managed this in record time, what a brilliant result.

We asked people to donate to our Just Giving Page, with people donating as far a field as China, with a massive response of £417.00! Thank you!

We also asked some our customers for donations, so we could auction them online. We received a Men's top from Paul Smith and some gorgeous evening dresses and handbags from House of Fraser. These all went on EBay for LOROS to receive 10% from the auction.

Lastly we organised a raffle to win £75.00 and a hamper kindly donated by The Co-op. This was drawn on the 2nd July when the other teams put in their results. Packaging Pedals came top with a massive result of over £800.00 raised for LOROS.

Keenpac thoroughly enjoyed the month of fund raising and hopefully more events will be held in the future."

Laura Betts, LOROS Partnership Development Executive said, "The Keenpac team have done a fantastic job of turning £10 into £845. We are so grateful for their efforts. The £845 raised by Keenpac will go towards patient care and will help us to continue providing care to the people of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland."
