Garden Party a Great Success

Mr and Mrs Timothy Milward kindly agreed to open their beautiful gardens in Gaddesby for a summer Drinks and Canapés Evening organised by the LOROS Special Event Committee.

Funds were raised by selling tickets and holding a charity raffle. The event was attended by 100 people and the total amount raised was an incredible £3,682; this could pay for a Community Nurse Specialist to visit 36 patients in their homes and is an example of how this fantastic donation truly makes a difference and helps us to help others.

Alex Gamble, Partnership Development Executive at LOROS said, "It was a marvellous evening, well organised and attended by very generous people to whom we are very grateful.

"The Special Events Committee has been running for more than 20 years and has put on some fabulous events which have raised lots of money for LOROS. Without their continued support, we wouldn't be able to provide our services to 2,500 patients and their families each year."

The Special Events Committee’s next production is the Christmas Fair at Mary’s home, The Grange, Kimcote on Thursday 6th November from 10-3
