Mr Chunilal Chauhan recently celebrated his 90th Birthday.

In loving memory of his late wife, Mrs Narabdaben Chauhan, his birthday guests were requested to donate to LOROS in lieu of gifts.

Chunilal's very generous family and friends raised a fantastic £705.50 and he came to the hospice in person to present us with his cheque.

Fundraising co-ordinator Debbie Dickman accepted the cheque on behalf of LOROS and said: "What Mr Chauhan has done is amazing and the hospice is very grateful."

Adrian Walker, Senior Fundraiser at the hospice added: "It is selfless people like Mr Chauhan that help us continue caring for local people who need hospice care. Without their contributions we would not be able to raise the £4.5 million we require each year to maintain our services. We are truly appreciative of his contribution."
