On Saturday 11th October from 10am-4pm we're opening the doors of the Hospice to the public for an exciting Heart of Art exhibition!

LOROS will provide the base for a fascinating art trail which will weave its way through our incredible Hospice enabling visitors to learn about the unique services we provide.

The exhibition will feature paintings, prints and photographs that have been kindly donated by talented local artists, all of which will be for sale with proceeds from all sales coming to LOROS.

Also on display will be art work produced by LOROS patients who attend Day Therapy at the Hospice.

The exhibition is happening during National ‘Hospice Care week’ which is held from October 6th to 12th 2014 and is an annual awareness-raising week to help raise the profile of hospice care across the UK.

Jo Kavanagh, Director of Care Services at LOROS said: “This is a very exciting initiative for us. It is the first time we have hosted an Art Event and we really hope that our local community comes out to support us. It’s a unique opportunity to learn more about the great work we do, whilst also viewing a variety of art work generously donated to us by local artists. With prices starting from £10 hopefully everyone will find something they would like to purchase on the day!”

The exhibition runs from 10am till 4pm. There is no entrance fee and refreshments will be available throughout the event.

We look forward to seeing you.
