Business owners or managers in Harborough are invited to a seminar to learn about the latest trends in social media and how they can be used in different industries.

All proceeds from the event will be going to county hospice charity LOROS.

The aim of the seminar, called Are You Wasting Your Time on Social Media?, is to show business owners how they can utilise social media to boost their business as part of their marketing mix.

The half-day event is at The Waterfront restaurant, at the Union Wharf canal basin, off Leicester Road in Harborough, next Thursday, October 30, from 9am-midday.

Jessica Shailes, head of digital marketing at The Ideal Marketing Company, will be hosting the event.

With seven years’ experience using social media in business, she has helped hundreds of companies across a variety of industries get the most from social media.

Jessica said: “This seminar aims to give business owners an idea of which platforms could be profitable for them, how to create a campaign that works, and how to create an effective plan.”
