KONO Pizza Leicester support LOROS

News

7 Nov 2014

Kono Pizza in High Street, Leicester will be fundraising for LOROS at their official opening tomorrow (Saturday 8th November).

Nitin Morjaria, co-founder of the new business said: "We are opening this restaurant in memory of my sister, Kunjuabala Morjaria, who was cared for by LOROS. Although she has passed away, we remember well the excellent support and care she received during her illness; our memories haven't faded, nor has our gratitude to LOROS.

"We are inviting guests to our special event and will be serving Pizza Cones and drinks, without making any charge. However, in return, we will be asking them to make donations to their local Hospice, in memory of my sister."

Magdalena Korytkowska, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: "We are grateful for KONO for thinking about LOROS, especially as they are so very busy starting up a new business. We wish them every success with their official Opening and would like to think we can continue this partnership in the future."

The monies raised from our local business community help us to raise the £4.5 million we need each year to continue caring for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland."
