LOROS was delighted to host a visit from members of the Narborough Scout Group,Narborough Brownies and Practical Car, who came to present a cheque for £753.20.

They raised this fantastic sum between them in just two days, by organising a Christmas float and inviting local children to visit Santa.

Adrian Walker, Senior Fundraiser at LOROS said: "We are so grateful to everyone for their help and to the Brownies for carol singing and keeping everyone upbeat during both days. An especially huge thank you to Santa for all his hard work.

"It's only with donations like these that we can continue to provide care and support for local terminally ill patients and their loved ones. The £753 presented today could pay for the cost of one of our specialist nurses for a whole week and 10 patient's meals for a day - a very big thank you from everyone at the Hospice."
