LOROS are delighted to announce that Leicester Speedway have selected LOROS as their Charity of the Year for 2015.

Their fundraising campaign was announced at their Press and Practice day on Saturday 14th March which launched the beginning of their 2015 season.

Alan Jones, Press Officer at Leicester Speedway said "We are looking forward to the prospect of our two organisations working together to raise much needed funds for the vital service provided by the Hospice."

Diane Morris, Fundraising Manager at LOROS said: "I was delighted to be invited, with Amarjit to attend the launch of the Lion's 2015 season. Having our Logo displayed on all the riders Kevlar race suits is a great publicity coup for us and we hope it will increase support and raise the profile of our Hospice.

"We have to raise £4.5 million every year to continue delivering free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients, their family and carers. This is only made possible with help from the public and schemes like 'Charity of the Year' that we can do so. I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Leicester Speedway for their support."

Charity of the Year partnerships can take many forms and are designed to ensure that both the company and the Hospice, as a charity, benefit from the relationship.
