The LOROS hospice has benefited from generous donations thanks to local companies.

The Sytner Group, at Grove Park, visited LOROS to present its Charity of the Year donation of £3,323.23. It raised funds through a variety of events including car boot sales, cake sales, selling LOROS raffle tickets and even participating in sporting challenges.

More than 200 runners from businesses and other organisations also raised £10,000 for LOROS by competing in the 2014 Cummins Relay Challenge.

Entry fees and sponsorship totalled £10,038 (more than double the 2013 total of £5,000) from the annual event organised by Cummins Solicitors.
