Local building society, the Melton, has donated over £8,853 to LOROS Hospice.

The Melton raised the money through an affinity savings account which gives savers an attractive rate of interest, whilst every year the Society donates a percentage of the average daily account balances to LOROS.

LOROS Hospice is a local charity that provides free high quality care and support to terminally ill adult patients, their families and carers.

“Each year LOROS needs to raise a minimum of £4.5m to continue providing our services free of charge to over 2,500 local patients,” says Diane Morris, Fundraising Manager of LOROS. “This can only be made possible with help from local businesses and the public. We are thrilled to receive this generous donation from the Melton Building Society and would like to thank them and their customers for their marvellous support.”
