British Gas volunteers make a difference

A team of corporate volunteers from British Gas, based at Aylestone Road, recently helped the LOROS warehouse team to sort through sacks of donations from the public.

They thoroughly enjoyed their time out from their normal daily duties whilst supporting their chosen local Charity of the Year.

Magdalena Korytkowska, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: “Having British Gas staff members Alt texton board is a big privilege for us and I would like to thank them for the difference they make to LOROS and so to our patients and their families.

”Helping out at the warehouse is a very sociable role; there’s plenty of laughter and our warehouse team are always grateful for help sorting through the varied donations that arrive there - no two bags are ever the same!

"By donating your unwanted goods to LOROS, you are not just helping us to raise vital funds for the Hospice - by recycling your unwanted clothes, shoes, books and other items you are also playing your part in saving the environment and making the UK a much greener place to live."

PLEASE consider LOROS during your big Spring tidy up.
