On Friday 27th March two groups, one each from the Madani Girls and Boys Schools, received their £50 notes with the intention of growing them as much as possible for the 2015 LOROS Accumulator Challenge campaign.

Imtiaz Patel, Deputy Head of Madani Schools Federation said: "It was great for the students to see what LOROS actually do. The students were very positive after the meeting and already have some great ideas. The challenge is for the pupils to be innovative with their fundraising activities and raise Alt textawareness to the whole school community about the great work LOROS does."

Magdalena Korytkowska, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: “I would like to thank Imtiaz for his kind invitation. It was a privilege to visit the students at their school and provide them with a few details about LOROS before presenting them with their Accumulator Challenge packs.

"A few of the students were already familiar with the Hospice as members of their families had been patients - it makes there involvement in fundraising very touching.

"I look forward to seeing their creative and innovative ideas which, I'm sure, will bring a lot to this year’s campaign!”
