The 2015 LOROS Winter Bridge League, which was organised by Charles and Maggie Parker, saw pairs playing against each other throughout the winter months. The final, played at LOROS on 13th April, was won by Lydia Pook and Jennifer Parker.

The total amount raised by the players throughout the 2014/15 season was a superb £4,906

Adrian Walker, Senior Fundraiser at LOROS said: "We would like to say a big thank you to all the members of the league who gave their time and money to raise such a magnificent sum for our Hospice. Special thanks must go to Charles and Maggie Parker who not only organised the events but also provided a very nice buffet on finals night. This was followed by some equally delicious puddings donated by the players"

"We are very proud that 90% of all donations go directly to patient care and this £4,906 could contribute towards the running of the day therapy service for a three days and provide 80 patient’s meals for a day - Thank you again"
