KONO Pizza support Twilight walkers

KONO Pizza have kindly chosen LOROS as their Charity of the Year (COTY). In support of our Twilight event, they very kindly opened their doors to our walkers and gave away pieces of pizza, and hot drinks.

Most of our 'saints and sinners' were extremely wet by the time they reached KONO, so were even more grateful than normal for something warm to keep them going.

Magdalena Korytkowska, Fundraising Co-ordinator at LOROS said: “We were delighted that KONO, amongst others, offered to help with refreshments for our Twilight walkers. They are taking their COTY promise very seriously and this is exactly the sort of thing that our Corporate supporters can help with.

"I know that LOROS is very close to the heart of all the staff at KONO but especially to Nitin Morjaria whose sister, Kunjuabala Morjaria, was cared for at the Hospice. I would like to say a big thank you to Nitin and his staff who, judging by the photograph, certainly got into the spirit of this very successful event that raises so much money for LOROS."
